nature-based acupunture trainingMiddle Way Acupuncture Institute offers a nature-based acupuncture training program, as this was the original setting from which acupuncture developed.  Initially, training is geared towards the study of the natural world through the changing seasons, so that an experiential understanding of the elements as a cyclical process based on balance and harmony is developed.  This, then, becomes the foundation from which the study of acupuncture proceeds.

MAI is a Washington State approved acupuncture program meeting State (and National) requirements.
MAI is submitting its application for candidacy with the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), the National Certification Board for acupuncture this fall. Completion of the program and passing the State exam will allow one to practice in the State of Washington as a licensed acupuncturist, and receive a “Diploma in Acupuncture”.
